The Church of Saint George was built in 1834, and the bell tower was built in 1950. Part of the fresco painting is from that period, in the revival style, while Gjorgi Krstevski frescoed the church's nave from Ohrid, and Dragan Risteski painted the altar from Ohrid. Next to the church in the 20th century, closed porches were built on the west and south sides. On the south side, next to the patio, in 1984-5, a baptistery was built with a fresco painting by the artist Dragan Risteski. In the church courtyard, offices were made for the priests and a dining room for 200 people, which is also used for religious education. It was built in 1990 and consecrated by the Metropolitan of Debar - Kicevo, Mr. Timotej.
The church is in the eastern (upper) part of the city, at the end of Rasadnik and Gorna Vlashka Mala neighborhoods.
