ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The project's general goal is to support and develop services for people with special needs, intellectual disabilities, and older people in the municipality of Ohrid.
December 2022 - November 2025
SP 1 To establish a professional Day Care Center for people with special needs, intellectual disabilities, and older people, where the users will receive services that will enable them to acquire skills and competencies for independent living, rehabilitation, and socialization.
SP 2 To build the capacities of the Association Dobroljubie 2014 to meet the criteria and standards required by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy to become a licensed service provider.

ACTIVITIES:
Strengthening the capacities of the Association Dobroljubie 2014 – Analyses, Organizational procedures, Development plans, Strategies, License for social service.
Training – customized programs for users, assessments of users' needs, psycho-social support.
We are organizing creative workshops for the users of the Day Center.
We are organizing excursions for the users of the Day Center.
Caregiver Licensing Training.
Social service licensing.
Promotional activities, meetings for networking, and raising public awareness about the needs of the people with special needs, intellectual disabilities, and older people.
RESULTS:
Organized creative workshops within the three-year work plan.
Organized training sessions for association members and strengthened capacities for lobbying and representation.
Organized educational excursions.
Trained caregivers for the care of persons with disabilities and older people.
The Association Dobrotoljubije 2014 has become a local factor for supporting and promoting people with disabilities and older people, and its visibility has increased.
In-depth cooperation with local businesses, media, and supporters.
Promotion of the activities of the Day Center, familiarizing the general public with the activities of the Day Center (via TV, radio broadcasts, posts on social media, and participation in public events).
Established cooperation with related organizations and institutions and signed Memorandums of Cooperation.
Received License for social service from MTSP.
